Your account

There is no password.

You type your email address, a six-digit code arrives, and you type that. Nothing to invent, nothing to remember, and nothing anybody can steal from a list.

The account is run by Shopify, who also run the checkout, so it is the same sign-in you would use there.

What is kept, and for how long, is on the privacy page.

01

Your email address, on the next screen.

02

A code arrives, usually within a few seconds.

03

Type the code. That is the whole of it.

What it is for

  • Your saved objects follow you. Without an account they live in this browser only, so they are gone on your phone and gone when you clear it.
  • Your orders, and where each one is.
  • Your address, filled in for you the next time rather than typed again.

What it is not for

  • Buying. You never need an account to buy anything here, and checkout will not ask you for one.
  • Email. The account and the Thursday email are two separate yeses. There is a box for it on the sign-in screen, and one at the foot of this page.
  • Anything we sell on. Nothing about you is sold or shared, and there is no advertising pixel on this shop.

Separately

The Thursday email.

A handful of objects, once a week, up from eight in the evening. Nothing else is ever sent to it, and one click in any of them takes you off the list for good.

Saying yes here is only about this email. It does not make an account, and making an account does not do this.
