Sending something back
Send it back within fourteen days. Everything is on this page ↓It arrived broken
Report a fault with photographs. It costs you nothing →
A return starts with you asking. Nothing is packed in the box for it. Ask in your account, or on the withdrawal page where no account is needed, and within the fourteen days the return label reaches you by email, with everything the package needs to travel.
Before you do: if something is not what you hoped — a stiff dial, a question about how it works, a part you cannot find — write to orders@unseend.com first. It is often a two-minute answer, and sending it back stays possible either way.
What the label costs
You pay the return postage. We buy the label and take its cost off the refund, so there is nothing to pay up front.
| Sending back from | Label |
|---|---|
| The Netherlands | €6.95 |
| The rest of the European Union | €14.95 |
| Switzerland, Iceland, Serbia, the United States, Canada | €39 |
| Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates | €55 |
These cover a package up to 5 kg, which is nearly everything here. For anything heavier, we tell you the amount before the label is made.
What comes back to you
When you ask, you see the amount before you confirm. It is worked out like this.
Inside the EU: everything you paid, including the standard cost of sending it to you, less the label. If you chose Express, the difference between Express and Standard stays with the carrier. An object of €120 sent with free Standard shipping to Germany: €120 back, less €14.95, is €105.05.
Outside the EU: the price of the object, less what it cost to send it to you and less the label. Import duty and taxes paid on arrival went to your country's customs and cannot be refunded. Why it differs.
Every object is checked when it comes back, before the refund goes out. If it is not as it left you, we tell you what we found and what that changes, before anything is paid.
How to pack it
Nine steps, most of them a minute each. A camera, a watch, a radio or a figure: an old object travels well when nothing inside the box can move.

01 · The box it came in
Use the box it came in, with its padding. The label is made for that box and that weight.

02 · Everything back in
Caps, straps, cases, manuals, the original box and the numbered card all go back with it. Add the return slip from the email, or a note with your order number and name.

03 · Batteries out
Take out any batteries before it is packed.

04 · 5 cm all round
Wrap it on its own, then at least 5 cm of padding on every side. Shake gently: nothing should move.

05 · Before you close it
Two photographs: one of the object in the box, one of the packed box. Sending from outside the EU? One copy of the customs document goes inside now.

06 · Tape in an H
Tape every seam, top and bottom, in the shape of an H.

07 · Label on top
The return label flat on the largest side, away from seams. Old labels and barcodes off or covered.

08 · Outside the EU
The second copy of the customs document in a clear pouch on the outside, beside the label.

09 · Hand it in
Drop it at the place named in the email and keep the receipt. Once it is scanned, the fourteen days are met.
Return address, for reference only — please always use the label: Tovation, trading as Unseend, Industrieweg 43-54, 2651 BC Berkel en Rodenrijs, Netherlands.
When it arrives
We check it within two working days of it reaching us. The refund goes to the card you paid with, within fourteen days of you telling us you were withdrawing. We may wait for the object, or for proof it is on its way, whichever comes first.
