Seiko 6139 chronograph

€1.450,00

TEST DATA. A 1972 automatic chronograph, the blue dial.

One of one. When it goes, it goes.

About this one
TEST DATA. A 1972 Seiko 6139 automatic chronograph with the blue dial, on its original bracelet. One of the first automatic chronographs made, and it went to space on a wrist that was not supposed to be wearing it.
TEST DATA. Wearing. It winds itself, and the chronograph runs from the pusher at two and resets from the one at four. Do not use the chronograph underwater and do not reset it while it is running. Both are how these movements get broken.
TEST DATA. The 6139 is common. A 6139 with an original blue dial that has not faded to grey, an unpolished case and a working chronograph is not. This one has all three, and the bezel is the correct one for the reference rather than a later swap.
Condition

How it looks

TEST DATA. Case unpolished with the original brushing visible on the lug tops. Dial deep blue, no fading. Crystal has two light scratches. Bracelet shows stretch and one replaced link.

How it works

TEST DATA. Winds on the wrist and runs at about +18 seconds a day. Day and date both change and both quickset. Chronograph starts, stops and resets to zero cleanly, which is the part that usually fails.

Safety information

Everything Unseend sells is a working object from an earlier decade, sold as a collectable for adults; none of it is a toy or intended for children.

Each object is checked before it is photographed and again before it is packed, but a machine this age can still develop a fault. If anything behaves unexpectedly, stop using it and write to Unseend.

Use only the batteries stated on the page and remove them when the object is stored. Anything that connects to the mains should be checked by a qualified person if you are unsure of your supply.

Guarantee and returns

It works as described and arrives as photographed, or Unseend repairs, replaces or refunds it. Three months, on top of the rights you already have under European consumer law, which are not affected.

Fourteen days to return it, for everyone, everywhere. The object comes back in the state it was sent; return postage is yours; import charges cannot be refunded. The full page.
